I want to translate this.

The translation is here: /language/en-GB/en-GB.com_jamegafilter.ini

Can't translate the word "Category" en "Type". Also can't make an overwrite in the core Joomla.

Any idea?

These are titles of fields in the filter, you can go to Backend >> Components >> JA Megafilter >> select the filter you're using and change the text in Title column for these fields:

Then save the filter.
