saguaros ;
I had support tech at SiteGround (host) to attempt upgrade to Joomla 4; upgrade failed and they sent the following message:
"We were unable to complete the upgrade. The upgrade process was finished without issues, however, there were various errors after that caused by incompatibility of extensions or the active theme. We have switched the theme and deactivated all reported extensions from the returned errors(ja*, Dropfiles, dropeditor, AcyMailing, K2, etc). But there were still errors related to the database:
Joomla\Database\Exception\PrepareStatementFailureException: Unknown column 'm.publish_up' in 'where clause'
We have researched the case and tried different solutions but to no avail."
I suspect that the pages built with JA Builder component were part of the problem and will need to be rebuilt before I can attempt to upgrade the site again, and need to know if there is any uncomplicated way to do that. I know that some time back, when the database for the component was lost, you offered to rebuild all JA Builder pages; if possible, i would like to request that be done now.
I am thinking to install a fresh JA Property installation, add all known J4 ready extensions needed, import all known good content from the database; then attempt upgrade again.
Please advise when Builder pages can be rebuilt on this site and the likelihood of success with the upgrade described above. My client is very anxious to get this site current and working with Joomla 4.
Thanks in advance for your help.
