No columns showing on component

Hi all
I have a weird issue where in cat blog menu item I choose 2 or 3 columns but the front end only displays the content in a single column. Why would this be please? Thanks

Yes sure. Basically I run T4 with BS5 blank template. I wanted to create a new Cat Blog Menu Overide. So I went into Template in admin..clicked Create Overides then went to components, com_content, category etc. Problem is it then seems to lose its columns and styling i had set up. Its almost like the override is not drawing from T4 files? I do a lot of overides within the component...ie some p[ages have custom fields split out, some have title under the content etc...and before i started to use T4 I just used a template and crerated overides. How can i do this with t4 and BS5 Blank template please? Also, can i send Super Admin detials in here? Thanks

Does it work without your override? If yes, try to check and compare your override files with files in template or T4 plugin:

/templates/t4_your_template/html/com_content/
/plugins/system/t4/themes/base/html/com_content/

saguaros I was using the overide option within template manager but that takes it from components / com_content whereas the files i need to overide are actually in plugins/system/t4/themes/base/html arent they? So the rule is to use ftp rather than the override within admin??? Thanks

redeleven I think with coding, you can update directly via files 🙂
