Search crashes the Forum

Every time, I try to make a search for something, the whole forum goes down for 5-10 minutes... see screenshots...

Very annoying and not really helpful.

Could you share the search query that you used so I can replicate this issue?

saguaros It's basically ANY search query which searches the whole forum, if its just individual areas, like searching just within the posts of 1 template, it works, but the moment I try to search all posts, it crashes the whole forum for 5-10 minutes...

It seems that with multiple words in query, there will be issue, I reported to our team for further checking and get it fixed. Thanks for your report!

The whole website is a nightmare to use at the moment. I downloaded the excellent new JA Sport template and want to renew my account to take advantage of your support but the website continually displays a Gateway502 error so I'm unsure as to what value I'd get from the subscription.

For a premium product, you really should be using a premium forum software such as Vbulletin or IPBoard and the main website needs to be analysed for faults. Invest into your own infrastructure.
