Help! In Italy (and also in Europe) Google Font has become illegal for privacy. How is it possible to remove the code that calls the Google Fonts from the template? On which lines do we need to act? Is it a solution to use the Phoca Font component? We need a solution ... Thank you.
Lorenzo
Hi Lorenzo,
Which template are you using?
Design Control. Tk!
lorenzo
locastellan This template is implemented long time ago (before the rule for privacy) and the Google font is a core feature there, let me check with team if there can be option for this old template.
Really thank you! If I need to upgrade to premium support, that's not a problem. I absolutely have to remove calls to Google servers. I'm waiting for your answer. Thanks again!
locastellan There's a greater chance that someone could reply here that it had the same issue and it fixed it with a template hack than finding a fix from joomlart's one member team. I had the same question regarding Joomlart's own Simply template and it ended like that. Maybe on the premium templates they are more helpfull.
locastellan I will update here when having news from team.
Thanks Ckubs, I hope the solution arrives! I am waiting for the answer, if it should be necessary I can switch to premium assistance.
Sorry for pushing this topic up, but i have the same issue. Are there any solutions yet?
mememe12 Did you try to change to another font? You can share the login info of your site (URL + Admin account + FTP account) if it's still loading Google font, we will take a look.
Hi guys,
We recently implemented a new component called JA Font which helps to load Google Fonts on your site locally: https://www.joomlart.com/joomla/extensions/ja-font-component
Pls check it out.
