I cannot sent email from JA quick contact form. I keep getting the message "could not instantiate mail function. joomla"

    It seems that there is issue with the mail function on your site, you should check with your hosting provider for help to check further on this.

    I just test in Backend >> Global configuration >> Mail settings >> but the same issue happens:
