White space below footer

Hi,

Is there anyway to make the white space below the footer, the same colour as the footer? I have searched for options but have been unable to locate anything and the only way I can see is to edit a core template file which does not work in the long term, I have tried adding some custom css but have been unable to get it to work. The site I am trying to get this working on is https://new.mnorecords.com/

Did you tried to add to your custom.css this code ?

body {
background-color:#000!important;
}

Thank you for the reply, that worked correctly. For some reason it was not applying the custom css when I originally tried that code.
