Hi webcentric

It looks like you're using old version of Curb Appeal template, you should backup your site and install latest version of this template - which is ready for Joomla 4 & PHP 8.x already.

I understand. Currently I am using Curb Appeal on several website and made the changes that you suggested to which they all worked to upgrade to php 8+ using Joomla!3+

However, on this site it is not working. I need to get this working first, and then I will move forward to migrate all of the other sites to joomla!4.

Also, are there instructions that you recommend to ugrade joomla! sites to joomla!4?

Thank you,

webcentric You can simply install latest version of template and its complimentary extensions. And make sure that all other 3rd party extensions on your site are ready for J4 as well. Then you can migrate to J4.

      Hi!
I have the same problem with PHP8 on my site:
      https://msc-schmallenberg.de/

"implode(): Argument #2 ($array) must be of type ?array, string given"

      joomla 3.10.11
      template: corpway 1.0.3
      4.2.5 Vertex

Where can I share my login-data for you - I can't find it anymore.

      Thanx!

        Hi DSTG

We're updating Shape5's products to Joomla 4 and PHP 8, S5 Corpway template will be released in the next pack.

Kindly wait for the new version before switching to PHP 8 or Joomla 4.

        Regards

          Hello,
our provider will switch off PHP 7.4 on January 15th, 2023 and there is only PHP 8. Therefore I unfortunately need a quick solution.
          Thank you very much!

DSTG I will check with team and put this template in priority. Hope it could be ready tomorrow.

              Thank you.

Its that easy? I have read multiple links that make it sound far more difficult. I'll give it a whirl.

              Thanks again!

              Hello,

I did as you instructed. I installed the latest template for S_5 Outdoor Life. This a simple site with basic Shape 5 / Joomla mods.

site - spindiggity.com. This is one of my sites, not my clients.

I then loaded up the latest Joomla! 4 and both the front end and admin side crashed.

              (Edit)

              Additional info:

During installation the new Joomla! 4 file, this message popped up with 90% of the install complete.

              ERROR:

There was one plug in not compatible with J!4 which I uninstalled.

I get the feeling there is more to the migration to J4 than an updated template and the J!4 file?

              Thank you,

              Ok....

              Update:

I've relaunched the site - spindiggity.com. Ive gone through all the pre update checks for Joomla1 4.2.6. The only extension
That 'may' cause an issue is the S5_Flex Menu. It's version I have loaded up is is new than the one it wants me to upload? So I turned the S5_Flex menu off, now it doesn't show as a potential migration issue. (Shold I remove it completely?)

I have downloaded the new template, Outdoor Life.

I then tried the migration - The admin side works. The front does not.

webcentric You can share the URL + super admin + FTP account of your site and tell me the error in details on frontend, I will check

DSTG S5 Corpway is ready for Joomla 4 now, pls check it out.

webcentric I see both frontend and backend of your site is working fine now, could you share the issue in details?

                            saguaros

The issues are the same as above. When I migrate to J4 the admin sides works, the front end does not.

I have tried several times to migrate with out 100% success.

If you want me to migrate to J4 and leave once I get there I can. Please let me know what you want me to do to
                            help you resolve the issue.

I have gone through the J4 check list. It seems as though I have done what is needed.

                            Thank you.
