Quiz Displaying Correct Answer if Student's Answer is Incorrect

At this time, when student completes the quiz.
They receive the results.
It shows which questions they were correct and also shows which are incorrect.
What it doesn't show is why the correct answer is what it is.

We were wondering if its possible to display why the correct answer is either A,B,C, or D...
I guess they would probably need some custom work, since we would need an area in the backend to write a one sentence explanation as to why the answer is what it is..

So that then it can be displayed on the front-end when the student takes the course and received the wrong answer.

Is this type of custom work possible without messing around with to much code that we wouldn't be able to continue to update iGuru?

Is this something Joomlart can assist?

As i check, there is no way to achieve your need without modifing guru core. But your is greate. I'll try to implement it to core.

You can override these files

components\com_guru\views\guruauthor\tmpl\student_quizdetails.php
components\com_guru\models\gurutask.php

Then use string === to separate question title and result explain

Unfortunately, its not functioning correctly as you mentioned its almost there.

So the answer won't display immediately after taking the quiz.
Even when it says "Sorry, your answer is incorrect."

It will only displays the answer, if the page is refreshed and click back to quiz.
Or if you click yes to "Would you like to take it again now?"

Its been a while, but that was one of the reasons we all decided to leave this ticket open.
Just in case there was an issue and sadly after migrating to Joomla 4 and updating to Guru 6.1.3, there is now an issue.

I replaced the files

student_quizdetails.php
gurutask.php

as you mentioned in both and renamed the previous one with an edning of (-6.1.3) for reference.
And changed them out here:

root/components/com_guru/views/guruauthor/tmpl
root/components/com_guru/models

unfortunately, after a student takes the quiz and wishes to retake the page is blank.
We have FF Explorer setup on the admin backend in case you need FTP access, but if you need further access, just let me know.

We had some work done on our previous guru setup when we were using Joomla 4 and Guru pro 6.

Now, we have since migrated to Joomla 4 and Guru Pro 6.1.3

I sent a message on the previous ticket to manhta , but not sure he received my message as it has been a 5 days and still no response.

I explained the issue on the ticket mentioned above, as we decided to keep this ticket open as it was a special tasks that the magical Manhta helped us with and was hoping someone can look into this, please.

As we've have several students over the past week since we migrated complaining about this and love to retain our good user experience.

I replaced the files

student_quizdetails.php
gurutask.php

Also, so you can view the actual quiz and test yourself.
Allow me to place the steps to see and test a quiz in the front-end;

1) log in with user credentials above on this ticket
2) visit mycourses page (https://website.com/mycourses)
3) quick watch to see where the quiz is exactly: https://app.screencast.com/aY6C0xuBHEYuG
4) find keywords for quiz: "Agree/Disagree No.1-No.5"
5) click retest/rejoin to attempt to retest the quiz
