Error 503 Service Unavailable after updates

Good day,

I noticed that after installing updates for extensions and template and changing my PHP version to 8, I can no longer open the shipment methods in Joomla, as soon as I click on a shipment method, it loads and gives met a 503 service unavailable error.

Can you advise what this issue might be? Before doing an update the php.ini was changed to allow for file upload size and the php version was changed to 8 after the update. As far as my knowledge goes nothing else was changed.

Good evening,

If you log in to the back end and navigate to Components -> Virtuemart -> Shipment Methods and click on any of the listed shipment methods you should see the same results as I do.

I just tested by installing Joomla 4.2.2 + install Virtuemart 4 and see the same issue. Virtuemart seems still having many issues 🙁(

That is a massive problem, is there a way I can rollback the update without losing all my products?

danab Do you have any backup of previous version of your site? Or you can contact your hosting provider if they have.

I do have backups yeah, was just hoping there would be another way since I did some work after the last backup. Do you think if I stay on this version, that VM will fix this bug in a future release? Or is it just best to roll back with a backup

You can consider that option, VM is a 3rd party extension and we're not sure when they will fix these issues.
