Server Error: "Upload Directory Isn't Writable"

Hello,
I am getting a constant error on my website running the latest Joomal and iGuru. I cannot upload a Cover/Avatar image, the admin constantly gives this error:

even though it is.

I have modified the folders locations and checked their permissions and they are all either 755 or 777 and still it fails.

I cannot provide FTP as the server only uses SFTP ona specific port and these options are not available in the hidden details of this post.
