J4 migration process

I've got a J3.10.11 site I'd like to move to Joomla 4.

I see a JoomlaArt template I'd like to try offers a J4 quickstart and a version for Joomla 3.x. I'm confused by that. What if I wanted to add this template to an existing Joomla 4 site? Will JoomlaArt eventually offer this template for Joomla 4 as an install?

Should I install the 3.x version, then migrate my site to J4, or is JoomlaArt suggesting the best migration technique is to start over? Is this talked about in the documentation somewhere, because I can't seem to find it.

Which template are you interested in? If the template has support for Joomla 4 already then you can do migration to J4 for your site using the template no problem.

Hi Nic,

I think I was confused by seeing downloads of the type "quick start" options for both j4 and j3 but only one other template with the type 'template'. I presumed that download was for j3 only, but now I understand that type template can be installed on both j3 or j4.
