Search feature doesn't work

Recently I upgraded the template my website. I am not using Joomla 4 but after upgraded, I started to have error on Search component.

Any suggestions? What should I do?

I just added access details. The website is within /aw folder. Previously search component was working but was showing only the first page. When I was trying to click the second page, it wasn't working. I tried to fix it but currently having the issue above.

By the way, I just noticed that the tag should be GK News, not GK News 2.

Did you disable the search feature? could you share the URL so I can see the issue?

Yes, I disabled the search as it doesn't work.

It looks like a Joomla issue as this template doesn't override Smart Search module. Could you try to test with default Joomla template - Cassiopeia?

To make your site search work, i've made some changes

fix code error of filter page layout at file /templates/gk_news/html/com_finder/search/default_results.php
create a hidden menu of Smart Search component. Id 926
rebuild joomla menu in order to update search slug

Now your search is working fine. Kindly check.

You can turn off Show Url on com finder option to hide search result url.

saguaros It definitely not working. I just tried in different browsers and now I get 404 error.

I think it try to find results from the main source but not within /aw folder.
