I use the JA_flix template but there is a problem with it. When you navigate to a next page or article there is an error:
Serialization of 'Closure' is not allowed

When I disable caching the problem is temporary solved.

The template need a fix.
PHP version 7.4 also not working on PHP version 8
Joomla version 4.2.3

    It seems to be issue in Joomla 4.2, if you enable cache option in Global settings and in module settings, you also enable cache option, it will cause issue.

    Pls go to module settings (Articles-Categories or any module you're using on that page) and disable cache option under Advanced tab of module.
