Off canvas menu is empty

Hello,
I am using the JA Landscape template with Joomla 4. However, I do not get the responsive off canvas menu working.
In the navigation settings of the site template configuration is the offcanvas part enabled. The menu also slides in when clicking on the menu button on the website view.
However, the menu is empty. There is no menu content.

When assigning the menu via the site module configuration to the offcanvas position, another button appears in the offcanvas menu containing unformatted menu items. This is not the menu what a user would expect.

Therefore, I like to ask how I could fix this issue.

In the backend settings of menu module in off-canvas, make sure that you set to use 'Default' layout instead of 'Collapsible' layout.
