how to hide articles custom fields in category blog / home page

Hello,
Love JAwall. One quick question is how to hide custom field from displaying on home page under category blog. It makes the post long and its not needed to show at the category level. I appreciate your help. Please see attached.

You can try this custom CSS:

.item .footer .fields-container {display: none;}

Thank you for your help. I created a custom.css and upload it to the template folder/css and in the theme/teen_life/css, I even added the line to the file template/theme/teen_life/css/theme.css under

}
.item .footer .fields-container {display: none;}
.item .footer .article-hit,
.item .footer .jacomment-count,
.item .footer .jac-add-button,
.item .footer .comments-link,
.item-showcase .footer .article-hit {
margin: 5px 4px 0 0;
}

However, the custom fields still show in the home page, I also cleared the cache and related files. Any other ideas.?
