is it possible to group filter result entries from the Joomla content component by category ? Currently, the category name is displayed above each individual entry. The entries are sorted by category already.

In the Filter Config of JA Megafilter component, you can select to sort by 'Category' by default:
Then index the filter.
yes, I know. It's already sorted by category. But the category name is displayed above every single entry of this category, I would like the category name to appear only above the first entry of each category.
I got your point but at this moment, as you can see in the tab 'Page Options', category name or other fields will be set to show or not only, it doesn't have option to show for specific item, unfortunately.
