How would I do that, without anyone else seeing it ? I see no PM option.
In the meantime I did some things.
I have a backup-style, which did not have the custom code, set as default for all pages, which removed the wrongly implemented custom code. I implemented the code as you suggested in index.php. Problem solved you would think.
Nah, not entirely. I deleted the style with the wrong custom code, since there is no more use for that. Then I tried renaming the backup-style, now operating as default for all pages, by removing "backup" from the name only to learn I cannot edit the complete style. I got the exact same error as displayed above. So, from the start I did not have a problem with the custom code alone, but with the entire style. I can rename "Cassiopeia - Default", I can rename "ja_simpli - Default", but I cannot rename (or edit) the style I created myself ("ja_simpli - Cascade Yoga - Backup"). Also not the freshly created duplicate of my backup.
So, for now, the problem of not being able to change the copyright notice has been solved, but for the future, if I ever want to change anything in the style, I have a big problem.
