How to change menu dropdown clicked item text color

I am using Ja-charity template. And changed the color palette from Yellow to Maroon. Now, what I am looking for is, when I have a dropdown menu item clicked is showing up in yellow, and I need to be consistent here.
Could you tell me what changes to be made to CSS to make sure clicked item text from the menu becomes Red ( from yellow of course :-) ) -- the color I chose here.

You can use this custom CSS:
