Can't Add Media Categories

Whenever I try to add a new media category inside the Guru component I get the following error message:

Media Categories Manager
Field 'user_id' doesn't have a default value

Joomla: 4.2.5
Guru Pro: 6.0.2
PHP: 7.4

On a separate note, I had PHP 8 FastCGI installed and that caused new media lessons to not save at all from the course backend. So I temporarily reverted back to PHP 7.4

Could you try with PHP 8.0 instead of 8.1 version?

You can switch to this version and I will check the issue for you.

saguaros Well right now it's with PHP version 7.4 since I couldn't save the lessons. Do you want me to bump it up to PHP 8?

Or share me the cPanel hosting, I will switch and check it directly.

manhta I certainly didn't modify that file, wondering if it happened during the upgrade to Joom 4.

I can now add categories again, thank you.

It seems as though I still can't add new media lessons from the course backend though. It lets me do it form the actual media page, but on on the course page.

I found no issue on adding media to lesson. Could you try again? Or give us a video record?
