I'm trying to make the JA Quick Contact work in my site, gov.perrycountytn.com, but no luck so far. I have it in the main menu and on the page for ADA Compliance Plan. I filled out the form, Clicked on checkbox for Terms, and clicked on Send Email, and nothing happened.

I didn't get a copy of the email, a bcc copy didn't come to me, I didn't get redirected to a new page. I have Google invisible captcha installed and the content captcha plugin from Joomlart installed, both using the same keys. I set it to send Ajax and then tested it sending smtp. Nothing worked. I really need this to work since the mayor needs this to show they are in compliance with the code, having a contact interaction.

I have the Contact Us in the main menu shows the contact module, and when I tested it, I got a CAPTCHA_SPAMER message. The invisible Google symbol did work on this form, so don't know why I would get this response since I really am a real person.

The contact form worked in the menu item, but the form on the ADA Compliance page did not. Both set up exactly the same, with both redirecting the sender to a thank you page. The menu item sends you to the thank you page, but the ADA Compliance form does not do anything at all.

OK thanks. I thought it was interesting it worked on the menu item which was incorporated into the template quickstart, but using it in an article with a module embedded wasn't working. Just an observation.

        Hi,
As i check, you have a module quick contact on mega menu. I do not recommend this.
JA Quick Contact ony works with one instance on page. Two modules will be conflicted and make the other stop working.

        Regards

The contact form as a menu item is as the template quickstart was built when I built this site. I did wonder if that had anything to do with the failure of the form on the ADA page.
So I have to remove it from my main menu as a module, and built that menu item as a page or article link. OK, I hate to lose that form in the menu, but if that's the only way to make it work, I'll do it.

patvandenbosche T4 framework supports option so that you can use a Menu Navigation for specific page. Under Template >> Navigation >> I just cloned the 'default' navigation to have a new one called 'nocontactmodule' and I configure megamenu for this new navigation type and remove the contact form in the menu.

You can assign this template style to the page that you also use contact form in the page.

With default template style, you can still have that contact form in the menu.

          Hope this helps.

Heinz, I assigned the ADA page to this template subpage, but all the styling was missing at the top of the page that would match the rest of the site. Specifically the Masthead element was missing. I created the masthead, assigned the page to this subpage, and it doesn't show up. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but hopefully you can help me.

I'm attaching an screenshot of the template layout where I was working. The module shows up in the layout, but it isn't populated.

I used the exact same settings as I had on the default template where it does appear. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

          Thanks,
          Pat

BTW, this helped a lot. I'm just trying to keep the styling consistent on all the articles. Thanks.

I still can't figure out how to get the masthead with the article title inside it on that page.

patvandenbosche By default, this template doesn't support that layout, it shows the overlay set for the masthead section only, not article title.
