Hi there,

I just migrated my site from Joomla 3.10 to 4.2.5 and used the opportunity to create a new template based on the T4 standard template.

I'm blown away by the ease of use and the functionality! 😊

What I'd no like to achieve is the 'fixed and transparent' menu on the top of the page (like in this demo of a free template https://www.joomlart.com/demo/ja-stark).

On my site, the menu and the logo currently disappears when one scrolls down: https://stefan-schoch.de/

Question:
How do I achieve a menu like the demo one?
Is this done with CSS code, if so, how?
Or is this something I can enable in the T4 template-builder?

Thanks for your great work! 🙏

Stefan

Hi Stefan,

T4 supports option in Layout settings of template that you can set the header sticky - the header still shows when scrolling down.

About the transparent, it will require some CSS customization.

That was easy! 🙂
I didn't realize what that 'sticky' option was for.

Would it be possible to have the frontpage always look like this: https://i.imgur.com/5VgNok5.png ?
Currently it looks like this: https://stefan-schoch.de/
I would like to have the header image always behind the menu when the page is loaded like on the image above.
to create that, I only had to scroll down a bit.
Is it possible that the page scrolls down automatically when loaded or have this effect perhaps with some negative margin or something?

Stefan

You will have to customize code to achieve that, if you're not familiar with coding, you can hire a developer to get it done for you 🙂

Seems to be not that easy... 😉

Thanks for the tip, I'll consider it!
