Migrating ja-puresite to J4

I am running a site on ja-puresite and is thinking of migrating from J3 to J4. My ambition is to keep the simple blog interface.
Would you recommend another similar template, or are you planning to migrate ja-puresite to J4?
I also are having problem upgrading from PHP7 to PHP8. Could that have something to do with ja-puresite, stopping the upgrade?

This template is pretty old now - 10 yrs old already and it will not available in new version of PHP or Joomla 4 and stopped in development.

You can consider to move to another recent template: https://www.joomlart.com/joomla/templates

In case that you still want to use this JA Puresite template, you should hire a developer to get it done for you.
