Edit categories & articles from the frontend?

Hi there,
I'd like to be able to edit Joomla categories & articles from the frontend.
I already switched 'menus & modules' on in the backend, now little edit-symbol appears at the top right corner of the modules.
But - not on the menu nor on categories or articles.

What else do I have to do to be able to edit all from the frontend?

Did you try to test it with default Joomla template and see how it goes?

I just tried, there is a Link 'bearbeiten' on the right side of the article.
I don't see that with the T4 template
