"Show product customfields in browse views" is not functioning correctly

Our shop have many products which need "customfields" and these "customfields" are critically related to the shipping issue. However, the current template category page view is not able to show those "customfields" but only QTY and the button of addtocart. (Indeed, as well as the module "Best Selection" of "VirtueMart Products" being currently unpublished because of the same reason) It lets customers bypass the "customfields" selection and checkout with the first value of every "customfields"...

Is it any way to solve this issue? Indeed, our shop has already been running. Please help!

ALSO, a relatively small issue is as the following screen capture - the alignment error:

PS: For your reference, we've just recently download and used the QuickStart download to set up the website. After the demo was ready to run, we then customer the images and content only.

Due to the design of this template, the space is not enough to show the custom fields for each product so it doesn't show there.

You can override CSS rule to show them:

div[class*="-view"] .vm-col.product .product-action .vm-customfields-wrap {
    display: block !important;
}

Of course, you will have to customize the style to show these custom fields properly.

About the add to cart popup, you can try with this:

div#fancybox-wrap {
    width: 465px !important;
}

#fancybox-wrap #fancybox-outer #fancybox-content {
    width: 465px !important;
}

I tried to reuse your css by specifying the div id/class (by replacing .vm-col.product to that element I can find in page source) in that module but fail.

Also, while at this moment, we only show 3 products there. The alignment is quite strange. We can't find how to control the row number...
