Buildr upgrade

Hi Today I attempted a Buildr upgrade, I installed the Zengrid Framework v5 but when I looked in Extensions, Manage for Framework or Zen it does not show up, so I am not sure it is enabled, but I do have a problem, two that is: I am actually using the zeromar theme with the old Buildr, I copied the three files into the css folder (theme.xeromar.css, .map and .php) but it is not an option to choose from when I switched to the new Buildr theme in backend, only xero, no xeromar appears in dropdown Child options and xero was actually preselected in the theme. I think this is why several header layouts are different when I switch to the new Buildr. I switched back to old Buildr to make notes of the modules to arrange in the xero template to make it the same as old site but now I cannot see the modules in the old Buildr template (maybe because of the zengrid framework upgrade to v5? Please advise, how I can choose xeromar theme and restore my old layout in the new Buildr. Thanks, carin

I'm afraid that there is no such zeromar theme in templates of Joomlabamboo: https://www.joomlabamboo.com/joomla-templates/

Where did you get this theme? could you share the URL so I can check?

handsun Do you have backup of previous working version? as I'm not sure which files you copied and changed.

The previous version is what is live now, the new version I renamed to BuildrNEW, in that folder I copied and pasted the 3 xeromar files in the css folder, I seem to remember that is somewhere I have to add (reference ) those files as well since they are not in the original folder. I am not sure how xeromar got used as the css file, it was many years ago that I did the original build, and that was an upgrade from 1.8 or that old joomla system.

Do you have backup of previous working version? you can share with me so I can check, I guess when you update template / framework, it overrides the layout settings.

The previous working version is what is enabled right now, yes I have buildr-backup.zip in the Templates folder. I would like to keep in closer contact if you are able to help me, so I know if you are about to make changes and I can review them. I appreciate your assistance. Yes, you were not able to respond to my requests in the time I needed, the site went down so I had to figure it out. I would appreciate some help in upgrading php to 8.x I got a lot of error codes when I tried, is that due to plugins, addons I need to be sure conform to 8.x Joomla has this persistant message to upgrade

I do have a css dummie question, I can't seem to get custom.css to override some of the .less files, even at the bottom of the sheet and with !important. I have never worked with .less, but I don't think I can edit those directly can I? Don't they have to be compiled somehow aftrwards, i am not clear on how to make changes I need to the css with those .less files. I would appreciate some guidance on that!! Thanks

Also I wanted to add the zen social icons next to search but there are no "available" modules to add there when I click the edit pencil in the Logo section, https://www.screencast.com/t/FtIvBk1MVR if I try and add an unused module by dragging it breaks the site.
