I'm gettting the following error everytime a message is sent via contact-form:

COUNT(): ARGUMENT #1 ($VALUE) MUST BE OF TYPE COUNTABLE|ARRAY, STRING GIVEN

What's causing this and how is it fixed?

I enabled debug mode on your site and saw that issue comes from 3rd party extension installed on your site:

JROOT/administrator/components/com_ose_firewall/classes/Library/fwscanner/fwscanner.php:622

It's better if you contact its provider for help on this.

Thank you Saguaros! I uninstalled the component and it fixed the error message.

Curious, before the fix I also enabled debug mode (Global Configuration) and though it clearly showed up on most pages at the bottom of the screen, whenever I sent a message only the error message appeared (and no debug panel at the bottom). I'm using Chrome.

Did you see the debug-info somewhere else, or did the debug-panel actually show up on your error message page?

cemsdb Enabling the debug mode and set Error Reporting to Maximum (under Global Configuration >> Server tab), it will show error in details on frontend 🙂

Thanks for the follow-up! Unfortunately, after following your instructions I still get the same results after clicking "Send" (an error-page without the Joomla! Debug Console <in the bottom of screen> or any error reporting <usually on top of the screen>)

I even tried a different browser (Microsoft Edge) and got the same results (no bug or error report after clicking "Send")

When you do it do you get both bug-report (in the bottom) and error report (on top)?
