Updating Template and T3 for Joomla 4

Hi,

I currently have a website built on the JA Restaurant template, Joomla 3, and T3. I had stopped updating at Joomla 3.9.28 and was waiting for the template, updates, and dust to settle a little before moving ahead. I am ready now and it seems all is ready. My question is should I do this in any order, or just update everything? Obviously, I have to watch out for 3rd party components.

Currently, I have these versions:

Joomla - 3.9.28
T3 - 2.77
Template - 1.0.8
PHP - 7.4.33
MySql - 5.5.5-10.3.37

Hi Michael,

You can install latest version of JA Restaurant template and its complimentary extensions, they are ready for both J4 and J3

and make sure that all 3rd party extension on your site are ready for J4 too before migrating to J4.

Hi,

I was able to update all the JA restaurant modules and components, but I am stuck on the template. It will not update from the JA extension manager and gives me an Internal Server 500 error. If I try from the standard Joomla updater, the file extraction fails. When I check the downloads on Joomlart, It does not have the newer 2.0 version. Where can I get that to upload manually?

This only shows the old version 1.0.5, not the new version 2.0
