Template positions problems

Hello,

We are developing a new version of our Joomla! 3 multilingual website using now Joomla! 4 and JA Athena template.

1) We are trying to recreate some of the pages or pages sections of the JA Athena demo template (like the hero section, or footer) but we fail to do so. It seems that it is because some of the posistions you use in the template demo are not activated or misconfigured on our own website. Can you please check that the layout we use (default one) matches the one you use in your template demo?

2) We want to display some modules in the frontend but even with existing default layout template style positions they are not visible. For example, we would like to display the RSMembership! Subscribe Module on the "COTISER" page of the "Menu principal français" (French Main Menu) with masthead or map position but the module remains invisible in frontend.

Can you please help us to solve these problems?

Hi aalisg

May I know which position / module you want to show as our demo site?
It due to the concept of this template in which the single article page will show some info of article such as: title, author, date ... in the masthead section. if it's not single article page, module in 'masthead' position will show normally.

Hello and thank you for your reply,

1) We would like to recreate the footer so positions footsub, footsocial, copyright, footnav-1, footnav-2 and footnav-3 should be added with the same characteristics (position in the template, size).

2) O.K. so what kind of "Joomla! page" should we use if we only want to display a module in the frontend (keeping menus and footer modules) ?

3) We would like to reproduce the "DIVERSITY & INCLUSION >" button on the right of the menu of your demo website. What should we do to do so?

aalisg If you're new to this template, I recommend you to download the 'Quickstart' package of this template and install it in your local environment / testing site with sample data, it will look like our demo site and you can know how we setup layouts / modules as our demo site.

2- It can be any menu item, it will depend on the layout that you set for template. Make sure that the position that you're assigning that module to, is included in the layout. You can check in 'Layout settings' of template.

3- It belongs to the mainnav block of template, you can go to Layout settings of template >> edit the mainnav block

The width of this right header section will depend on classes: col-5 col-lg-2 col-xl-3 - you will need to understand a bit about Bootstrap classes

aalisg I might install before, pls don't worry as this is a file manager component developed by our dev team to easily update files without asking for FTP account 🙂
