ZenGrid incompatibe with PHP 8?

Hello,
I have inheritred management of a older Joomla site and have initiated an update process. It appears that ZenGrid is incompatible with PHP 8, is there a successor product that replaces it? All pages will display:

0 - count(): Argument #1 ($value) must be of type Countable|array, bool given
An error has occurred while processing your request.

Switching bacK to PHP 7.4.33 restores the site.

Site is running:
Responsive 2 - The Zen Grid Framework v4 update for the original Responsive theme.

Hi Kurt,

Unfortunately, Joomlabamboo's products are pretty old now, we don't have plan to update it to Joomla 4 or PHP 8 at this moment.

So I gathered. As soon as I saw that Responsive 2 was released in 2015 and had no recent updates - I expected it would not be compatible with PHP 8.

Can you recommend a more contemporary product from the JoomArt family that offers similar (I pray for congruent, but dream on) design and functionality to replace the theme that would be PHP8 and Joomla 4 Compatible? Very big points would go to "not a soul-crushing, spirit-breaking nightmare" to upgrade. I'm being a little flip, but I am sure you know EXACTLY what I mean.

Responsive2 has simple layout, you can find a suitable one in our large collection of templates here: https://www.joomlart.com/joomla/templates which are ready for J4 and PHP 8
