Remove background color from blog display

After upgrading JA Magz II to the latest version (2.0.1), featured articles appear with a background color in blog view on my front page. How can I reset this?

On the category page, the same articles are displayed without a background color, as before.

The problem now seems to have disappeared, after clearing the browser cache (not Joomla). Maybe it was as simple as something left in the browser from before upgrading the template and the Joomla platform.
