Quickinstall ,home navbar standard, menuitems does'nt work

Hi there,

I did quick install JA-Spa template and as standard I use the template home navbar standard
I want to use the homepage as you now can see at roboostveen.nl
as layout setting in the template style I set the settings on home standard .

So the homepage is oke, the menu is oke (horonzitaal) only the menuitems our "spa till contact" does'nt work.

Question: what to do that the other menuitems work and still have the same homepage ?

saguaros - late reply (three months later but I had to do other sites first)
I read https://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-templates/ja-spa#menu-style
and try to understand en fix this because what I do I have still the same issue

I have home-navbar-standard
change in layout settings mainnav into mannav-standard

save the whole thing but that does'nt work

make a test article and menuitem template style Hme navbar-standard and this one even does'nt work
check the Menu Assignment it's all selected

What do I forget or do wrong ?

Hi Rob,

As I can see that the main nav on 'Test' page looks the same as homepage now, not sure how you want to achieve here.

Could you clarify in more details?

Every menuitem goes to the homepage.
I made the test menuitem to a single article but in the front end it does'nt go to the single article but to the homepage content.
Contact menuitem goes to the homepage content and so on .

For the test menuitem I closed all the modules
In the test article is the text

Where is the text on the frontpage ?

Hi Rob,

You assigned that 'Test' menu item to home template style so the layout will look like the homepage.

I just tried to assign it to default template style and it shows normally now.

Kindly check.

I get it, thx, so it's not possible in this template to use the horizontal menu as in the style from the home navbar in other menitems like my test case and by example contact ?

In that case I had to find another template , that's a pitty

Hi Rob,

No need to use another template, you can simply duplicate a template style of JA Spa and assign 'default-standard' layout for this template + assign to 'Test' page (or any other page you want the same layout)

I just duplicated to have a new test style and assign to that 'Test' page, kindly check.
