I temporarily solved that, but I still need your help.
What I temporarily did, was to go to the template files and delete or mentions of ($presentation_style === 'sliders') ($presentation_style === 'tabs') and the related content, and I left only the ($presentation_style === 'plain') related code, so that it only loads the 'plain'.
It seems that the problem is that I cant find ANYWHERE in Joomla settings, the option to change the presentation style! Where is it.....??
