custom.css overriden by coperate.css because of loading order?

Hi,
I'm testing with the Purity-III template. I added a custom.css file (/templates/purity_iii/css/custom.css), but it is overridden by the corperate.css in the folder /templates/purity_iii/css/layouts/corporate.css.

I read several forum posts and placed the custom.css in different folders but could not find the solution to solve this problem. I hope someone knows the answer. Thanks!

I created a workaround bij adding the plugin Add Custom CSS, but if there's someone who knows what caused the problem I would still like to know.

Try to put !important for the css rule you declare in custom.css file

.corporate .slideshow {
    background: #ffffff !important;
}
