Shape5 Traction template is too old now (10 years), it will not be updated to Joomla 4, unfortunately.
"Traction" is very nice and modern: how many new subscriptions of users still using this template may be needed to update it to work with Joomla4 ?
To be honest, there is very less request on this, if there are more people interested in this template, I will share with team.
Is it possible for a user to autonomously make the necessary changes to make a template compatible with Joomla 4 ?
To make a template compatible with Joomla 4, you have to manually check all overrides in template. The code in template is quite old so lots of work will be done. If you're not familiar with coding, I suggest you to hire a developer to get it done for you.

I have been doing some research on the forum and I see that there are many people still using the Traction template recently and asking for support about it.
As I mentioned from my first reply, Traction template will not be updated to Joomla 4.

What i did was using the Corpway Template ... Its looks alot like this and made some changes to look similar. It worked for me.

To me, the style looks old compared to the Traction template ...
