504 Gateway Time-out (JomSocial is not loaded in the control panel + front)

Jomsocial 4.7.7 and 4.7.8 slow down the system and I´m not able to use Community in the Backend once I have logged in.
I can see that there is a head com_community error message showing up. I believe that is the issue but don´t know how to fix it.
Please help me.
