How to turnoff cascading-effect in off-canvas menu

How does one turn off the cascading-effect that occurs with the menu-items when the off-canvas menu opens up?

You can try this custom CSS:

*It's important to note 2 things:
1) I added a space between "none" and "!important" in your suggested code
2) The "Sub Menu Effect" settings (in Template/Navigation) must be set to "Drilldown" to work properly
