Module position Search (or Login, Cart)

Hi,

What I need is to display an phone icon in a search position module (just top-right position of website) and link it.
I created extra menu and module for it. I published it (new module) in search position and turned "old" search module off but it still displays search icon. So, I think it is hard-coded.
I tried to published this new module in login or cart position but it doesn't work.

Could you help please?

BTW: could you provide the module position screenshot for this template?

Thanks for pointing me. I made some small change in default.php file (nothing in css), using Cart id module - have a look, please:
<?php if($this->API->modules('search')) : ?> <div id="gkCart" > <a style="text-decoration:none;" title="Click to contact" href="#gkFooterNav"><span class="fa fa-phone"></span></a> </div> <?php endif; ?>
(I don't know if code shown above is correct ;-) ).
This (layout) works on desktop but breaks on mobile view. I suppose that "gkCart" is not prepared to display in search position (or next to it). So, could you be so kind and tell me how to tune the css up for the proper gkCart displaying in there?

I can see this phone icon is showing fine on mobile now, did you get it solved?

No, I didn't. It should be displayed like this:
(different icon of course)

And this is how it looks on my site:

It due to the fa class you use for that icon, you can override with this css rule:

@media (max-width: 768px){
#gkRightMenu #gkCart .fa {
    line-height: normal !important;
    padding: 18px;
}
}
