How to control Portfolio layout

Hello again,
In Global configuration ->Articles, I have chosen Portfolio-1 for the layout.
I like how it looks but the article appears with extra text that I don't want:
'Welcome to our work'
'Share on ...'
(see image attached)

How can I remove or change these?
