T4 Framework and Bootstrap 5 Blank Template Mega Menu onclick instead of onhover

I would like to trigger my Mega Menu with mouse click not on mouse hover. Is there a straight forward option to toggle this behavior to mouse click instead of mouse hover? I want this functionally on desktop. I recall this I believe was a toggle option in T3, does it exist in T4? Or do I need to hack the code? Thanks in advance for any suggestions, how to. I'd think there would be an option, not finding it.

I'm afraid that T4 doesn't have option for mouse click trigger for now. If there are people interested in this feature, I will share with T4 team for further consideration.

Yes I would appreciate that. I'm sure it would be of use to many.

Do you have any suggestions on how I can make it function that way? Any insight on best to have it work on click instead of hover would so helpful. I would really like to leverage the latest framework (t4) instead of (t3) so I'm current with the latest support for Joomla 4 moving forward. Thanks!

chrisrjr I'm afraid that you have to customize the T4 core 🙂

Many of my clints want to click on the main menu.

Any suggestions on where to begin to modify to achieve the menu dropdown only onclick?

T4 utilizes Bootstrap dropdown so in order to achieve that you have to customize the mockup much and add custom script too. It would be complicated task 🙂
