locating map-marker data and styles for markers used in JA Image Hotspots.

Hello,
I have used JA Image Hotspots for Joomla 3.10 and have also installed it for the Joomla 4.3.2 site to use with map markers. Before I copy the data manually, I would like to know where JA image hotspot module keeps its data and which javascript and CSS files are associated with the display of this data. I have tried to inpsect the page in Firefox, but the files are not easily identifiable there, I would like to move the data (for the markers) from one site to another, and I have way too many to do that manually. Is there any documentation or personal success story? My source site is and the target site has the blank map, but I would like to populate it with the original markers on the source site. Hi Arjun,

By default, this module doesn't support that import/export feature. Let me check with team if there is solution to import in this case.

I wasn't aware of an export/import feature, but if there were a json, xml, js, or css file or one of the mysql database tables that contain the marker-map data I could try to move the data on the old site to the one on the new site in order to migrate the data without unnecessary spelling issues. When I right-click on the page with the map and choose View Page Source [view-source:https://www.toledosattic.org/exhibit-themes/then-and-now/96-exhibit-themes/then-and-now/726-walkingtour1902](view-source:https://www.toledosattic.org/exhibit-themes/then-and-now/96-exhibit-themes/then-and-now/726-walkingtour1902), I see the data, but I need to find the source of the data and copy that to the new site -- presumably into the corresponding files without that data. Therefore, an export/import feature is not needed here. Thanks! -- Arjun

asabharwal Maybe importing param via database but not entirely sure it's possible, let me check first.

Thanks, @saguaros . I have asked our host to export the MySQL database, and I have found what seems to be the data i have been after. I was hoping that the same information is available in a self-contained CSS, XML, JSON files that could just be moved over from the Joomla 3.11 into a corresponding file on the Joomla 4.2.8. I can try to copy the original article over to the new site, then insert the sql line from the original database into the new one. please let me know what you find out. Best regards, Arjun
