Home page article order won't change

The order of the articles on the home page won't change no matter what options I use - order date, oldest - order date newest, etc. I have tried changing in the menu item and in the top-lead module.

As I took a short test on module: Top Lead with some configs Articles Sorted By and Ascending or Descending it still works well.

Would you please describe your issue more detail with some images or directions.? So I can debug and find the solution quicker.

Seems to be working now. I couldn't get it to work yesterday. Thanks for your help.

Can you explain or point to a link that explains the different between trying to configure the layout in the Home menu and the Top lead module? Which takes precedence? When to configure one vs the other.

The configuration options in the menu are for displaying in the component. For example, if you are on the blog menu, the items in the blog will follow the settings in the menu. However, when you are building the home page using the modules, the settings will be in each module.
