I upgraded my Guru website to Joomla 4

and found the following problems:

Guru does not run wih PHP 8.0 or higher. It needs PHP 7.4 to work
Guru Student Activity Plugin 1.0.6 crashes the system - needs to be deactivated
Guru Teacher Actions Plugin 1.0.0 crashes the system - needs to be deactivated
an upload of guru_courseteach_1.0..6 did not do anything (at least that I could find...)

Any comments or help?
When will GURU be ready for PHP 8.x ?

Hi,
The latest version of the Guru component is compatible with PHP 8.0. However, there are some issues with the Guru plugin, and we will check and get back to you soon.
Can you please clarify what "guru_courseteach_1.0.6" refers to?

Crashed the whole system when acitivated (had to deactivate via phpmyadmin - as backend was crashed as well...
(not easy for a php mysql dummy...)

I know deinstalled Guru Teacher Action from my site.

"guru_courseteach_1.0.6" was a plugin I downloaded from your website, assuming it might be an update for Guru Teacher Actions.
However, it apparently is not. Nor did it appear in the list of extensions, filtered for "guru". I am puzzled myself what function it has and where it might show up.

A compatibility with PHP 8.0 cannot be confirmed. At this point I can't even open courses with PHP 8.0.29 running. It may be a conflict with some other tool... But since it is live site is live ... returning to PHP 7,4.33 is the only viable option for now.

It seems I have resolved the issue by now. Apparently some modules were not up to date, but didn't show up as outdated...
