Problems with Postgres 15

I have downloaded JA Stark and JA Simpli. Both to test with my setup:

Postgres 15
PHP 8.2.3
Apache 2.4.55.1

A.F.A.I.K. this meets the requirements for both templates and the T3/T4 frameworks.
However both lead to errors (regarding database issues) and won't work on my setup.

Any thoughts on this?
All help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi prozac64,

Thank you for your report. We will test the products with PHP8.2.3.
For now, you should use PHP8.0 or 8.1. Joomla 4 also has some issue with PHP8.2

Just reverted to PHP 8.1.6 (WAMP) and dropped the Postgres databases. Did two clean installations Joomla 4.2.8 and of both JA Stark and JA Simpli.
Still not working (PHP errors related to the database.

Could you tell me more details of the package you used to install? did you install Joomla package then install template manually or using Quickstart package of these 2 templates?

I did not use the quickstart package. I installed the template, framework and if appliacable additionale packages.

Could you try with MySQL instead of PostgreSQL?

Installed two fresh Joomla 4.2.8 environments using:

PHP 8.2.3
MySQL 8.0.32
Apache 2.4.55.1

Then installen ja_stark on one and ja_simpli on the other instance. Both flawless, everything works as expected....

So must conclude that the templates are not 100% compatible with PostgreSQL 15!

Unfortunately, there is no news on PostgreSQL support.

Could you use MySQL instead?
