Jomsocial future development.

We've had one update in the past 14 months and the roadmap hasn't been updated since plans for version 4.8 were announced. What's coming down the line guys? More communication would definitely be appreciated.

Thank you for bringing up the concern about the recent lack of updates for JomSocial. As you may know, Joomla 4 is a major update and the development team has been diligently working on updating templates, extensions, and add-ons to be compatible with it. Most of the enterprise extensions are already compatible with Joomla 4, and this will make the workload easier for us soon, allowing us to focus on more updates and features for JomSocial.

Our plan is to release a new update for JomSocial once Adagency Pro for Joomla 4 is ready. We are currently working hard to get a stable version of Adagency Pro for Joomla 4 released as soon as possible, hopefully within the next 10 days. We appreciate your patience and thank you for your feedback, which shows us that we have users who are eagerly awaiting updates.

If you have any ideas or suggestions for improving JomSocial, we would love to hear them. Thank you for your continued support.

It isn't right that Jomsocial customers are kept waiting in order to service other products. If I'd paid for the ultimate membership I'd have no complaints but I haven't paid for any other extensions or templates - just Jomsocial.
As an example, I have an account with Joomlashack with access to over 30 extensions. I'm waiting patiently there for the extension I need to be updated to J4 and have no complaints in waiting because it's the entire package I've paid for.
That's not the case here. At the very least I think Joomlart should extend the license of all Jomsocial only members up to the point when the next update is released. We can all decide whether to renew or not after that.
Jomsocial is an excellent product, I don't make this criticism lightly.
