Modify Links in Module to Open New Window

There is a module in Section-7, Our Partners, JAACM, where you add images and enter links, but they are all set so the reader stays in the same window. I need them to be where a new window with navigation opens for them since they are all external links. Please tell me if this can be done and where so I don't have to ask for this each time. It really needs to be an option in the module.

You can edit file: /templates/ja_phio/acm/clients/tmpl/style-1.php

Approx line 36:

<a href="<?php echo $clientLink; ?>" title="<?php echo $clientName; ?>">

change it to:

<a href="<?php echo $clientLink; ?>" title="<?php echo $clientName; ?>" target="_blank">

This is great. I knew it needed the code, target="_blank", but didn't know where to put it. Will this be sufficient if there is an update to the module? Or will this file not be touched if there is an update?

Hi Pat,

You can copy this folder: root/templates/ja_phio/acm/clients/

to the local folder of template so it will not be affected when you update new version of module or template:

root/templates/ja_phio/local/acm/clients/
