I use some of your nice templates and i can upgrade the core joomla from the control panel.
BUT with JA Tour template, every time i have to upgrade the joomla core version, i have do use a php version 7.x.
I did so in the past but now my host not run that version, so i can use only php 8.x.
the error i receive is alway
"Error 0: unknow format specifier "S"
How solve this for ever?

sorry for the delay, i was in tour.
i not solved the problem, i can't upgrade to joomla 4.2.9 for the error.
The login and passoword are the same that i wrote in the module .

In the main control panel, there is the advice "Joomla version 4.x.x avaible".
If i click on the link and start the procese, the error occur.
Like i wrote, i set php version to 7.x in the past, and i did the update, now my service provider is running php version from 8.x

We can help you to resolve if there is any error related to our template after you upgrade to Joomla 4 only.
If the issue happens in the progress of updating Joomla 4, you should post the same question into Joomla forum for help.
P/s: if it works with PHP 7, you can switch to PHP 7 temporarily to migrate to Joomla 4 first, then switch to PHP 8 once done.

like i wrote there is no more a php version 7,x on the server.
I had this problem only with this template (i have other joomalart template running the upgrade on the same server with php 8.x) so i think it is releated at this template the error.
this template in the past gave me also error with the cache and other problem (solved with some workaround).
If you need to log in other template on the same server that have no error, write me
I found the problem.
It was related to the language pack (i use italian).
If i use like administrator language "english" i can do the upgrade without error.
I force an upgrade to the italian language (manually) and it solved too.
Hope can help all the user of the template in italian language
