Hi,
my site was build in Joomla! 3 using the Purity III templa te. My Joomla 3 had the latest version, I had the latest Purity III version 2.02 before I did the upgrade from Joomla 3 to Joomla 4.2.8 last week.
After the Joomla upgrade, I have an issue. My content editors are working in front end, using the TinyMCE editor. In there, the drop down menu to access CMS content, all of the options of the menu (typical example, 'media' to insert pictures in the content' are not working. When I click either of them, nothing is shown. The focus of the cursor is away from the editor/article (as if the popup window has opened but is outside the screen) till I hit the escape key are click again on an any option of the CMS menu. A second later I can use the editor itself again normally. I once managed to make the content of the modules pop visible by using my keyboard, could select a module and insert it into my article, but never managed to get that again.
I tried to use instead ARKEditor: the CMS menu options are there shown as buttons under the content edit pane, and have exactly the same issue.
My support company tells me this is caused by the template.
Any solution for this ?
I saw in the downloads here, that there is download Purity III V2.02 voor Joomla III and Joomla 4, the one I am running, but also a Purity III V2.02 download for Joomla 4 only: is there a difference ? Should I install the Joomla 4 one ? Can I just install it like I did when I upgraded in Joomla III my Purity III to the latest V2.02 version or do I need other actions in this situation ? Would it install as an upgrade without further actions to do, or as a new template ? I don't want to run into more issues then I have allready ...
