Thank you saguaros for the information! 🙂
However the problem remains and I reiterate my original request .
I'm an ordinary user with only some basic knowledge of html and css. To modify Gavick templates is even more difficult for me, because they don't have the easy interface of the T4 framework. Because those templates you suggested are visually simplistic, extensive modifications would be necessary. I'm not up to the task.
JoomlArt T4 templates are well crafted, visually appealing, but all have the same problem. Their basic layout on the "home" page is practically identical. Top to the bottom they offer a menu, a hero, a masshead, series of advanced custom modules, and footer area. A tired cliche and a lazy way of serving the clients by your development department.
There is no room for people like me, in those templates, to occasionally get rid of all the dazzling business garbage and strip the starting page down to the essentials that are needed, without loosing the beauty of the template in a simplified one row layout with a right- or left-column nav area.
The people whom I provide hosting space and the templates for their homepages are mostly Hungarian non-profits and public institutions. They just want to present themselves in a decent, stylish manner and not overwhelm people with marketing bullshit.
To be frank, I'm deeply disconcerted by the reluctance of your customer service to solve this simple problem, especially in view of the fact that I'm a regular Ultimate Developer paying customer. During these years I hardly ever asked a question or wanted help and I'd bet, that that any of you guys, with a decent professional knowledge, wouldn't need much more time to come up with the few lines of code to solve my problem, than what is necessary to write an appeasing reply in the forum.
Please don't send me any more stalling replies. Send me the solution because in a few days I must decide whether I can count on you and renew my subscription.
