Joomla over plesk JA Updates Service PORTS !!

Hi everyone I'm currently setting up some firewall rules and I noted that setting up the drop policy the service gives me login-failed. Removing the drop policy it is able to login correctly, so I would like to know how can I find the ports used by this service in order to open them, I'm asking here because I can not find anything about ports regarding joomla.

May I know which part of the login that you're referring to?

In the JA manager extension >> Service >>
There are 2 voices
"Local" which is used to get udates from local machie
and another which has the url where to get the updates and that need a login, how ever instead of online, when i set up firewall it gives me login-faile

So my question is, on which port this is working ? Because 80 and 443 are up and opened

Hi,
The JA Extension Manager sends POST request to url http://update.joomlart.com/service/ to validate user info. Kindly check if your firewall blocks POST request or 80 port.

The port 80 is opened both directions.

SOLVED! The problem what that the firewall was blocking the outgoing request to the dns server so it could not resolve the url properly, due to mistake in the outgoing rule.
